Google Crowns Author Ted Demopoulos Dullest Person

Durham, NH, 30 May 2007 – Google, source of all knowledge on the Internet, has chosen author Ted Demopoulos as the dullest person. A search on “dull person” reveals the number one hit is Demopoulos’ blog http://www.BloggingforBusinessBook.com.

"I’m not THAT dull," insists Demopoulos, who is quick to point out that thousands of people must agree as they regularly read his blog. “My books have also sold tens of thousands of copies, so they can’t be horribly dull,” he adds. “The thousands of people who hear my keynotes and attend my seminars also seem happy.”

“I noticed I was getting more traffic than normal today,” says Demopoulos, “and when I checked my traffic statistics I found people searching on the term ‘dull person’ on Google were being sent to my blog. I’m currently the number one listing – the most ‘dull person’ according to Google.”

Apparently Google has honed in on Demopoulos’ opinion on whether dull people should blog or not. He believes dull is relative, but Google believes otherwise, and places Demopoulos and his blog on the top of the heap.

“I guess I’m happy. More people are being exposed to my messages,” he says. “I’d rather be known for something else, but Google never asked me for my opinion, probably because they didn’t want to be bored.”

Demopoulos invites everyone to read his books and visit his blog and determine for themselves how dull he really is.

Ted Demopoulos is the author of What No One Ever Tells You About Blogging and Podcasting and two other books on business and the Internet. He blogs at http://www.BloggingForBusinessBook.com and in his spare time studies belly button lint and enjoys categorizing grass seed.
